a good camouflage (Bronze or Silver from Ranked, with a +200% FXP bonus) Premium time also helps a lot, and it's a much better use of doubloons than converting ship XP into FXP.Ī good game (2.3k base xp) in a mid-tier ship with: The best way is to use good one-use camos, some economic flags and occasionally the special flags. However, that's not the way to get it quickly. Some ships, like the Anshan, have a permanent camouflage that gives more FXP. Of the ships you mention, Scharnhorst is one of the best ships you can have for Narai. By playing Narai as much as I could, I have managed to get something like 600k Free XP in a week (and yes, that was pretty much only playing Narai that week, and limiting other modes as much as possible during a holiday). If you do really well, in Narai consistently getting 15k-20k Free XP is very doable (IIRC my record is well over 30k Free XP in a single game). If you know how to do well in Operations, just put on the best Free XP boosting camos and (Special) Signals you have, and play them as much as possible. Play ships you do well in (no matter tier, class or premium), basically the ship that consistently gets you the most Base XP.Ĭlan Battles (2500 Base XP in a win) and operations (most notorious is Narai - where one can do really well quite easily) are great Free XP farming opportunities (as well as Elite Commander XP farming opportunities) You can add Special Flags and Signals that add to XP and Free XP earnings. And yes, for farming purposes slapping such camo on a premium is much better. Most of the disposable camos in game boost XP earnings, and many also boost Free XP earnings. Premium HSF Harekaze (I) comes with a stock camo that boosts Free XP earnings, on top of boosting the XP earning in a game. Premium ships come with a base camo that gives a 50% bonus to XP earnings, and therefore indirectly affects Free XP earnings (positively). So the ship (hull) itself is completely irrelevant.įree XP earning is based in XP earning in a game. To my knowledge, there is at best only ONE ship around with a Free XP bonus built into the stock - no camouflage wearing - hull (it is a Premium Ship). My goal is to reach 1 million free XP but with 600k at the moment I feel it will take me probably a year or so to achieve.įew things (many have been mentioned already): I have one premium T10 with Moskva and a couple of lower tier premiums like Scharnhorst.Ī couple of years ago I was stupid enough to splash my free XP on the Nelson which I actually don't mind now. My question, is there a difference of ships' ability to farm free XP and if so, is there an overview of ships per tier that best farm free XP? Please bear with me, I used the search function but couldn't find anything (I have to admit I wasn't that patient to start with). Note that Free XP does not count towards mission objectives or daily containers, unless specifically stated otherwise. By hovering the mouse over the Total value on the latter page, the components of the value can be seen. The amount of Free XP earned in a battle is displayed next to the gold star on the post-battle 'Personal Score' tab and in the appropriate column of the 'Credits and XP' tab. See the Economics article for how FXP earnings are calculated.įree XP also can be obtained by converting Elite XP (ship or commander) at the rate of 1 Doubloon per 25 Free XP converted. Bonuses for Free XP earning are available. įree XP is earned in battle at the base rate of 5% of the total (modified) ship experience. The current balance of the Free XP pool is displayed on the main Port page, in the upper right-hand corner next to the gold star. Free XP can also be used to train captains if the player has used up all of his Elite Commander Experience (see below). A few premium ships can be purchased directly for Free XP plus one credit. The Free Experience pool, like Credits, is shared among all ships and therefore can be spent in place of ship experience to unlock any ship or module. A player who reaches Account Level 6 unlocks Free Experience (often Free XP or FXP ).
